We are a husband-and-wife team who moved to Ballito from the UK at the beginning of 2019 to be closer to PJ’s family and to give our children (5 and 9 at the time) the chance to experience life barefoot and in the sunshine!

PJ was involved in property development for many years in London, starting and growing a business with his brother. Clare worked in food-marketing, retail, her own start-ups and as a mentor for other start-ups for many years before joining PJ in the property business when his brother moved to Cape Town. 

Makers’ Yard is a culmination of our skills and experience and the opportunity for us to combine our passion for property and small businesses into one space, encouraging entrepreneurship and providing local businesses with a platform from which to grow. We are excited to share it with you!
